This is the best documentary ever!

I saw this movie yesterday and any movie that keeps me smiling throughout, and believe me that is rare, deserves to be called the best! I only wish I could've been a part of it. God Bless those kids!

It's pne of my favorite films.

I loved this movie! absolutely loved it! I'm a public school teacher, and I wish, absolutely wish, we had ballroom dancing in our schools. I love the positive impact it has on the kids. the positive self-esteem, the discipline, the respect, the friendly competition....
I loved how the boys and girls lined up and looked so proud and respectful when they took their partner by the arms and walked out on the dance floor. And they were so young....little kids being that disciplined and excited about dance!!!

And, dancing (and any music) is so good for developing math skills too. (and culture, history, language, etc.) No matter what...ball room dancing is a GOOD THING!!

I agree: it has so much heart and the documentary itself is very well done.

I remember going to see this at my local artsy theatre. At the end, when "our" team won, the entire (packed!) audience erupted in whoops and applause and cheering. People were standing up and clapping. We were so totally into the story and the kids. It was one of those crazy "laughter through tears" moments that leaves a smile on your face for hours. Great memory, great documentary.
