What is the pill she's taking

You see it in some scenes

one where she and the girl are in the locker room and then she does amazing at pool class

then theres another where she finds her swim suit at her locker and then she pulls out a little circular case and she takes a pill

What is that pill

Sorry Im probably sounding stupid but I have no idea what it is

reply

I think it was a diet pill of some sort

reply

I think it's mirgrane medication...because in the beginning Jacey's mom tells her that she went to go take one of her migrane pills, and there were barely any left.

reply

the one she takes in the beggining and the part where she passes out are the migraine pills but the on that gena gave her were diet pills. I guess when they mixed she passed out...

the pills she takes at home (her mom's "migraine" meds) are tranquilizers.

the ones that she takes in the locker room are a stimulant. (lots of people unsafely take stimulants to lose weight)

Yea, I assumed that the locker room girl gave her speed. But they didn't specify except that it gave her a lot more energy (it might not have actually enhanced her swimming, but it could have just given her tons more energy than usual, allowing her to go her full pace the entire time; I guess that's enhancing it though lol). I don't think the girl in the locker room gave her diet pills because Jacey acted like she was pretty tired and didn't feel like swimming, so the girl gave her the pills because they helped give her energy.

Anyway I didn't know what she was taking in the beginning but it would make sense for her to be on her mom's migraine medication since that was missing.

Well I'm watching it now and when Gina gives her the pills she does say it helps her mom lose weight, but I still don't think it's diet pills. I think it's speed. I guess it can have different affects on people. Like Jacey gained tons of energy from it, but Gina seemed completely normal (maybe she's just so used to using it or maybe she wasn't using it in the practice scene).

Diet pills and speed are the same thing.

reply

i think the "locker room girl" gave her speed because when she takes it for the first time at the end of her swim routine she says something about how fast she went or how good it felt or something of that nature.

reply

i think it might be valium perhaps. because that is what ppl take for heavy mirgranes and... it seems like its not ur average tylenol, ya know?

to the person who thought the diet pills were speed... I don't agree... I took diet pills once in highschool *they had green tea in them* and my hands wouldn't stop shaking and I had so much energy. My heart was racing. But the thing was... when Jacey took the pill before passing out, it wasn't the same color as the pill gena gave her... therefor I assumed it was either a continuity error, or she took her mother's migraine pills and she had taken too many over a long period of time...

Probably butalbidal, it's a migraine pill. My cousin found them in my grandma's purse, and he didn't know how strong they were, and he took 2, and then a few hours later, took another & passed out from od.

Well I'm pretty sure she had stolen some of her mothers tranquilizers.

Also, one of the girls gave her something 'that would help her lose weight' so it was probably some form of amphetamine. Possibly ADHD medication (like adderall or ritilan) or it could have been phentermine (wich is a stimulant that is actually perscribed for weight loss).
