Mom at Sixteen vs. Fifteen and Pregnant

Not sure if this has been discussed, but which one do you prefer? I like Mom at Sixteen, I felt that it had a more serious storyline. Plus Danielle Panabaker, Merdeces Ruehl, and Jane Krokowski all had outstanding performances, especially Danielle.

I deffff like Mom at Sixteen better. It i think had deeper and more realistic characters than Fifteen and Pregnant...and Mom at Sixteen had a better cast and like you said more serious.

I really like both movies, but I think Mom at Sixteen is more inspiring because Fifteen and Pregnant limits the view on the difficulties of teen motherhood to pregnancy alone, which is actually the LEAST difficult part, whereas, Mom at Sixteen shows the difficult aspects of actually having and dealing with a baby at a young age and the difficult decisions and sacrifices that come with that.

I took a few classes last year where all we did was watch movies. We actually got to catch a few good ones like Stand By Me and Kramer Vs. Kramer. The teacher also showed some of these lifetime movies (which I am a total bitch for). Anyways we got to watch Fifteen and Pregnant which I liked.

I only just turned on Mom at Sixteen just not (where the little sister goes to the arcade) and although I laughed through that scene, I really like Danielle Panabaker. So far I prefer neither better but I can see why some prefer Mom and Sixteen.

i always feel like 'mom at sixteen' is more emotional. It's such a more complicated story with having to keep the baby a secret, and the conflicting feelings from the boyfriend. 'pregnant at fifteen' comes off a straight cautionary tale.
