Who Played the President?

Whoever the actor was that played President Bush was, he was great! If they hadn't done any close ups, I could have actually believed it was really him!

Anyone know who that was?

Mr. Brightside by The Killers RULES!!!!!!!

reply

It quite clearly was not really President Bush...to me it looked like Will Ferrell under heavy make-up

reply

I dunno who it was but its drivin me crazy!! Shouldnt it be on the list of cast on IMDB? They shouldnt torture us like that, but i have to say, Ron White was HOT!

reply

o maaan! i rell crack up wen i see the president..haha
i wud really think its will ferrell.. but im not sure either!
sumbodee.. if you kno pleeeeezzzzee tell us...:D

reply

Was it someone famous in heavy makeup or some unknown comic genius who happens to look like that AND does a spot-on impression?

reply

If it was Will Ferrell, I doubt that he would have that much makeup on. Will can do Bush without that much makeup. I think that it was Jon Stewart under all that. The nose looks very much like Jon's to me. From time to time, his head structure and the shape of his face looked like Jon. Whoever it was, he had me rolling with laughter.

reply

im basically 100% sure it was Timothy Bottoms..he ALWAYS does the bush thing, and he looks just like him...he used to have a show called "That's My Bush" on comedy central...i missed most of that part, but it was most likely him...check him out, and lemme know if im right..

LIVESTRONG <--- that says LIVESTRONG, but yellow doesnt show up..

I've been wondering all day, and decided to come to the IMDB thinking that it would be here for sure, and nope, nothing. So frustrating. Whoever he was, he was HILARIOUS! I love the part about not knowing where Cheney is, and sometimes he stands outside his door and says, "Marco"...You just had to hear it. I sure hope someone finds out who it was.

ALL RIGHT, BUT PLEASE TAKE OFF CAPS LOCK.

I thought about the guy from "That's My Bush," but he didn't have any makeup on on the show, and this guy obviously had a mask of some sort on. I'm still sticking with Jon Stewart. That nose was rather jewey.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. I am a CAD Drafter/architectural engineer. As part of my job I type/write in all caps. Sometime I don't even realize it is on.

No way, it wasn't Jon Stewart. He was too tall to be Jon Stewart, and Stewart's Bush impression is ok, but it's not THAT good. Whoever he was, it was probably just some professional impersonator. No one famous, I bet.

reply

I believe he was a professional impersonator.

It was NOT Timothy Bottoms. And, he doesn't ALWAYS do the "Bush thing." As far as I've ever seen, he has only done it for "That's My Bush!" He is a professional actor, not a guy who gets called when they need a Bush stand-in.

It was also NOT Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart doesn't do impressions, he only mimmicks. He does a funny, but not so great, Bush impression on "The Daily Show" all the time. And, the nose the guy was wearing was fake. It may have been "jewey," but it was made to look like Bush's. Watch the roast again, and you can see the lines of the prosthetic.

It was also definitely not Wil Ferrell. The impression was nothing like his, and Ferrell doesn't have the same body as Bush, and this guy did.

reply

I don't know I think maybe it is him. Watch John Stewart's hand motions and body movement. He kept a straight face which John is really good at. He has the same body type, close enough in height (john:5'-7" gwb:5'-11") . And John made a cameo on Denis Leary's roast. The same people from Denis' roast showed up for Jeff's. Look at the eyes and the mouth when John does his impression. If it was him he got some serious practice time with that face mask on before the show.
maybe...

never mind i just learned from another thread it was stevebridges http://www.stevebridges.com/index.html

It was a guy named "Steve Bridges," and he's an impressionist. If you go to the Comedy Central website and look up "Comedy Central Roast of Jeff Foxworthy" on the TV shows drop-down menu, you'll see another menu on the left of the page. If you click on "bios" and find his name on the list, it gives a little biography about him. But yeah, it's not Farrell or Stewart...

reply

I know it sounds insane, but I think it is Tim Meadows from SNL. I don't know what he would be doing with Jeff Foxworthy, but his mouth is exactly the same.

reply

You are on crack if you seriously think that was Tim Meadows. And this guy doesn't look a damn thing like Jon Stewart, either. There's a big difference between 5'7" and 5'11" But now we know who it was, so there's no more debate.

reply

Okay so it is not John Stewart. We got that by now. And I was talking about a man standing on stage by himself so no good height guestamate could be made.
A 4" difference would be hard to tell, but yes I'm sure if you stand George Duhbbaya next to John Stewart there would be a serious difference.
