Building a standard sized stadium in 24 hrs?

Possible?

reply

I don't know. Very difficult to do in 24 hours. Need a humongous crew working A LOT of hours around the clock. Then maybe???

Regardless of the amount of crew working on it (which they did depict in the movie), if it has cement structures they need to be allowed to set in, and then watered for days to get strong. Not to forget laying down foundations for structures does not happen overnight.

No, but it is a movie that is meant to get cheap laughs, not to showcase realism.

Did they build that stadium just for the movie?

Didnt get the best look at the stadium, but Gus mentioned Fenway being one of the ball parks it was inspired by. Didn't see the pesky pole though. Left center field kinda looked like Tampa's with the pool. This and sandlot are two of my favorite baseball movies.

No. For one thing, cement takes time to set, and there are elements that cannot be started until the foundation sets. It's completely impossible.
