not only that, the title of the song was sung over in the part featured at the end of the movie..."I'm still standing...yeah yeah yeah. I'm still standing...yeah yeah yeah. I'm still standing...yeah yeah yeah............."

Well, the song is (as mentioned)"I'm Still Standing" by Elton John. It's from his 1983 album,"2 Low 4 Zero". It was a top 20 hit, with a pretty weird video too.

There was a goof metioned here on IMDB but it seems to have vanished. Mork & Mindy ended in May of 1982 and the song didn't come out until the summer of '83! Take it from me,I was 15 in 1983 and it was on Mtv and the radio a lot then.

I'm the one who mentioned the goof about Lionel Richie's album being in the record rack. That album was released about Sept/Oct of '82 and the series was 4 or 5 months gone!

Yes. Anachronisms abound, any scenes in which the music store was visible post season one are incorrect: Mindy's father sold the music store and went on the road as conductor. Cora went with him. This was the hubbub caused by the network during the hiatus between the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2.
