I read this a couple of years ago and had a good laugh while reading it. The book is full of stereotypes and lame excuses regarding the attraction between black men and white women.
I read this a year ago, too, and I thought it went a lot deeper than that. I don't think the book makes excuses for the attraction, or defends it in any way. In fact, it revealed that some white women want absolutely nothing to do with those stereotypes.
I read the book out of curiosity, half-expecting quite the opposite of what it actually contains. Rajen Persaud is a pretty sharp brother, and he went straight to the heart of many issues black people face (or choose not to).
