Hello,who is still knocking about from the old timers crew?

Hello to you too! I was here in its hey day losing my mind, of course. I got caught up in the love story, championed love's right to fall in love with anyone. Had a soft spot for the Black Male. Being a Black Female, I thought he needed my help. Guess what, he never asked for it, talk about controlling. Now, I'm on the road to happiness these days😀, all by myself, and it's not scary at all.

I do not know why I decided to check into this board after all these years, but your post caught my eye.

I was here when this movie first came out; I stuck around for, I think, three months (even wrote a fan fiction), then left when the board became no longer talking about the movie (but every other political/social issue pertaining to black woman-white man couples, and other things non-related to the movie). So, that was about nine years ago. I haven't looked through any of the other threads; so, I cannot say that I see anyone whom I remember, but then, on second thought, since it's been such a long time that I've been away, I doubt that I'd remember the names of any of the original posters to this board.

I'm doing well. I hope you are doing well, too.

P.S. Did a quick look at the board--it seems as if all the old threads/discussions, from the early days, are gone.
