Women are way more discriminated

I am positive that client didn't want to deal with a WOMAN. If she was a black man, I'm sure he'd have no problems working with him...Women really do have to work harder, if only that was the center point of this movie...That scene in the store was ridiculous for me. She is so self-centered and has never shown support to Brian with his problems, not once. If only she'd said "You don't know the *beep* we have to deal with every day because we're women" then this whole thing would have made sense. Playing the race card in this situation is laughable. Brian was right - she was a successful young black woman up for partner...her skin color obviously didn't stop her from achieving her goal. I'm just trying to understand where she got the idea that her life is difficult because she's black.

I was thinking the same thing! I thought that guy had a problem with her gender not her race.
Side note,I think Kenya was, at least, subconsciously looking for a fight/break up.

I disagree. I think white people deal with a black woman much more easily than a black man. It is easy for a black woman to make it in corporate America than a black man any day. Testosterone is less threatened by estrogen. So I think if it was a black man, the client would have had even more junk going through his head. I think definitely it was because she was a woman, only because women aren't thought to be as business savvy. But if she were a black man, he would have went looking for another firm.
