I can't stand the double standard when it comes to this.
First a man is scolded not to hit a woman- ever. And apparently a man is just suppose to stand there and get beat (even when a weapon is used), and then when people find out about it they shun and belittle him for being beat by a woman.
It is just so aggravating!
My philosophy is simply: NO ONE should be beating ANYBODY.

You totally shouldn't.
This subject breaks down into so many complexities it is just headache inducing.
IMO "Cause a Guy can take it" should not be the matter-of-fact reply to domestic abuse on men. Abusive women are more likely to use objects and other weapons to exert their anger, by then it leads to a situation that can be classified as abuse or attempted murder. It should not escalate that far.
