Season 8 Episode 1 "Garbage Sushi"

Season 8 Episode 1 "Garbage Sushi"

Before episode there was a KFC commercial with the robot chicken and Colonel Sanders.

They changed the intro, now a futuristic scientist captures the robot chicken. It was pretty good.

Godzilla/Jason movie skit.
Jesus breakfast skit.
Turtle bank robber. (Haha)
Bob the Builder 14th amendment illegal alien skit.
Growing sponge dinosaur skit.
Chew Blast Gum! (I liked it)
Captain Planet gets promoted to General.
Nicki Morgaj refinances mortgages.
Cylon suprise party
Dinosaur train. (Haha this was funny but I had to google it since it's so new. Also why do they have to steer if they're on tracks??)
Mr Magoo visits Japan. (pretty boring and unoriginal)
Thanos Infinity accessories.
Ariel's honeymoon. (Someone else did this before, but her last line was funny)
Matchstick girl. (It was ok, made me miss Bitch Pudding)

After episode showed Timmy's robot chicken character created Colonel Sanders.

Was that an actual KFC commercial, it looked like part of the show.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

I think KFC and Robot Chicken are doing a whole series of commercials.

I HATE Dinosaur Train, what an annoying show! It was refreshing to see Robot Chicken make fun of it at last, haha. Probably my favorite of the sketches.

Rest were mostly good too, except for Cylon Surprise Party since I didn't get that one.

It was a fine episode, but underwhelming compared to season 7's premiere. I look forward to the rest though, I still love this show.

I think the funny part of Cylon surprise party is supposed to be them all waiting in the dark with their red oscillating lights going. I didn't find it funny.

Huh.
I didn't like the Nicki Minaj sketch either.

It's a good start to the season and it's great to see Robot Chicken back, but hopefully next episode steps up the game.

They have changed to a new director I noticed. And it also affected the style of the episode. Tom Sheppard did a great job, I like him better than Zeb Wells (although still not as much as Chris McKay, who was my favorite).
