I am really worried that Banana-Damage is the fix to win

All her stuff is a strange mix of old lady and little girl, and I understand that everyone has to work through their problems in their own way, but the juxtaposition of infantility and sexualised in some of her work bugs me. And don't get me started on the insistence of piss-yellow as a substitute for design.

Man, the Erin jealousy is real. I thought it was just the other designers, but it's fans as well. That's sad.

reply

I don't think a difference of opinion = jealousy.

I really dislike many of Erin's looks as well, especially the yellow coat with the furry sleeves...but I'm not jealous of her. Actually, I haven't had any issue with her until this week where she and Dexter spent the whole time patting themselves on the back, and I feel like that was more an editing choice trying to paint them in a certain light than a true representation of her character. All that said, I really do detest that bright sunshine yellow she continues to use.

You know who I'm 'jealous' of? Laurence! Her stuff is absolutely amazing, and I wish I had her ability. That LBD this week was fricking amazing.

"The Bentley of little black dresses". So true.

She didn't use yellow in this challenge. ...maybe that's why she was in the bottom. Maybe yellow is in this year?

Btw you had me laughing at banana-damage.

Her designs may be old and strange but she's the one driving the Lexus...I wonder what color she picked.
