Rigged!!

This crap was rigged!!! LOL!!!!

It takes a sick mind for someone to keep replying to your posts when you said they're on ignore.

I'm literally cursing at my tv.

Can you imagine what her store would sell? Here's an oversized coat with wooden pockets. And here's a dress made completely out of checkers.

reply

She can partner with that winner from last season and offer artsy-craftsy crap in a variety of sizes.

reply

Oh Ashley's win was sheer political correctness on a platter. The Fashion industry has taken a beating or 2 or a few hundred times about their marginalizing of fat women. Whoops, Plus size women.

But at least Ashley had a good season throughout. It's only her fashion week collection that puzzled me. It was lingerie.

reply

I can't see any of her clothing being sold in Macy's, Nordstrom, and so forth. Erin should be a spokesperson for Michael's store.

reply

Definitely. She'll be in Jo-Ann's Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, exclusively on ETSY even.

reply

new_york..your TV didn't pick the winner.

reply

Erin won the most challenges...you didn't see this coming? This season was a bit flawed.. I'm not sure if they just eliminated the best designers (*cough* alex) too soon or there was just mediocre talent this season.

reply

They should just go all the way "alternative materials" and kill this show off for good! That's how they wound up in this situation with many good designers probably nixed early and we didn't even know it!  

I agree. My first thought was that this was rigged. I didn't care for her Valley Girl speech affect before the start of her runway and her clothes seem more Hello Kitty Japanese chic than haute couture. Not wearable unless you're a tween or teen.

reply

Clearly they wanted her from the beginning and I did like a lot of her clothes throughout the season, but Roberi's final collection was the best.

I never noticed her upspeak until last night.

"i'm erINN? this is my final collECTIONNN??? i hope you enJOYYY IT?"

reply

Why would it be rigged? What would anyone gain from having Erin as the winner? The first plus sized winner you could argue was rigged because they wanted to finally crown someone in that market. What's the end game here? To anger you into making conspiracy theories about a cable reality show?

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

I find Erin to be a much more agreeable pick than Ashley (last season). Ashley had a flat-out hideous runway collection. Erin wasn't my favorite, by far, but then again my favorites very rarely win so I don't even feel surprised. I liked Laurence, but her collection wasn't as great as her previous pieces. So I didn't really have a preference from the final show; they were all pretty "meh" in my opinion.

Doesn't mean it was rigged necessarily. They have vastly different opinions.

reply

Oh yeah, Ashley's collection was far worse for sure.

Erin's was just lazy compared with the stuff she created during the season.

reply

Would the OP care to expound on his theory?

reply

I feel like ever since this show moved to Lifetime that the network has been pushing very hard for what they consider as their demographic to win. They tried with the infamous Gretchen, they tried again with plus-size (who could not design for plus size) Ashley, oh and the forgotten Anya who could not even sew and lost her money, and now we have Erin who glues stuff on things. It's just another disappointment of a season. That said, this was Laurence's season to lose and she did. Her finale collection was just underwhelming.

reply

When everything is oversized foam material you don't even have to worry about fit, and then she just glues stuff to it. Can you imagine how impractical her stuff would be to wear? You'd be knocking stuff over lol

Terrible winner. She should have been 4th.
