Publicity

I can't talk about the current show, since I haven't watched it. However, I have noticed that in the short amount of time this new incarnation of TLLS has been on, it's received more publicity than Craig's version received in it's entire 10 year run.

No matter, I guess. I wish Corden luck, but not really interested anymore.

You're right about the publicity Deb. There were promos on prime time before the show was on. I don't know what the big deal is about having 2 celebrities on at the same time as it just seems to increase the inane guest talk. The difference between Graham Norton and Corden is Graham is funny. He'd be funny without a couch.

I miss the writers and scientists Craig used to have on. I just check to see who is on and I haven't seen any of the show since the first one. Mila Kunis coyly not wanting to disclose her marriage. Stop the presses! Who Cares?

I didn't watch the LLS until 9 months after the show started with Craig, so I can't say what they did in the beginning. But yeah, from that period forward, he's recieved much more publicity.

I haven't watched, either. Nothing against the guy, I just don't want to get into the habit. I'm trying to cut down on how much TV I watch

reply

Me too. I haven't watched the new guy either, and I'm also trying to cut down on TV. And they are making it really easy to cut down, with CF and Colbert and Jon Stewart all leaving.
