Need some advice...

I'm planning of having this serie and I found it from Amazon.uk but I need advice. There is one item called Gankutsuou Chapter 1: Count of Monte Cristo and other called Gankutsuou Chapter 5: Count of Monte Cristo. What difference does these two have? Where can I find all 24 episodes in same?

Lucy: I love to be frightened.
Dracula: Do you?

I saw these at Best Buy today and thought about them.........anyway I got mine from Ebay.
I know people think everything on ebay is bootleg, and maybe it is.... but its the only way I can afford it. My copy is a slim case with three or four DVD's I paid $20.00 for, it seems official, but who am I to judge.

Quality show.

reply

If it's the whole series one 3 or 4 discs... then YES, it is a bootleg. The official copies take place over 6 discs.

Yeah that is indeed a bootleg. Rule of thumb, it typically takes a year for a series to get a boxset version after its been totally released as single dvds. For a thinpak version, add on another year. You won't see a box set for a few months at least.

I bought the whole series from Ebay, and it turned out to have a very good quality. Three discs, 24 episodes, eight in each. Good series, but as always, could have been much better.

I heard you drowning, I finished my tea and scones and came immediately!

Each item refered to as a "chapter" on amazon.uk is a four-episode disc. As has been mentioned, there are six total. There's currently no complete box set out or announced, but since the last disc has been out for a while, it'll probably be announced fairly soon.

The actual boxset is 6 disks and it's the only offical one out. So anything else is a bootleg. Which is irritating for people who don't condone piracy.
But what can ya do. Ah wells.
