Franz Spoilers

So I watched this two days ago on netflix instant streaming and oh god Franz! Was he the wobbie or what! His death, no murder, made me loathe the Count. I was loving his magnificent bastardness until his merciless, and cruel cold blooded murder of a child. A child that was so adorable, and nice, and pretty much my favorite character.Albert is pretty high up there as well.

I'm not a crier, but when he died and you see Albert running, crying, and screaming for the Count to not kill him I felt tickles of wetness by my eyes and rage lol.

Also Franz and Albert had a cute friendship. It was easy to see they were best-friends. I also got the distinct impression that friendship was not the only thing he wanted from Albert... Which makes everything that happened to him and his sacrifice so much sadder.:( Damn you Count! Monster! I was glad he died in the end,and karma was a b*tch when it was Franz's sword point, still stuck in his heart, that killed him.

Which is ironic because in the movie(never read the book) I was on Count's side 110% and enraged at the injustice done to him, and glad when he got all the ones responsible. Here though they made the Count a Complete Monster, and I ceased giving a fig about him when he crossed the moral event horizon with Franz's murder.

I liked the story, and its different take for what it was,but good lord it took some getting use to the art style. I hope no animation ever does that again.
