Sorry folks, I'm not a Troll, and I actually lived during Elvis Presley's reign as King. But this punk playin' E' is about as convincing as my dog playin' Elvis. I don't know what it is about Hollywood and trying to make English/Brit actors play Americans and vise versa, but it makes me sick. A Great rendering of his life, turned sour by a terrible performance.

I didn't live during the Elvis era because i'm only 19, but i TOTALLY agree with you!! He did a terrible job and just thinking that he won that golden globe makes me sick. He's a young british dude that they made to play to King!!?!? That's just ridiculous!!!

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is actually Irish not British. I think he did a dead on Elvis Presley and I find him much sexier too. Elvis was good looking and talented but nothing is sexier than Jonathan dancing and gyrating his hips to hounddog...damn!

im a big fan of elvis. and i think JRM did a descent job. there is no one like the king. he was out of this planet, the one and only. and mr meyers did not dissapointed me. he wasnt that bad. but i rather his role on Velvet Goldmine (david bowie look alike) he is sooooo girlie in that movie. gosh he is beautiful (and yes! i'm a man :P)

the weather it's great. we have warm summers, cold (but not snowing) winters, and the spring is the best time to visit argentina!

Tomcat... I lived during Elvis' reign as well (saved my nickels so my babysitter would take me to see "Kissing Cousins") and I think JRM is UNCANNY in his Elvis portrayal. He captures the sensitive, impressionable momma's boy who regrettably surrounded himself with an entourage who could not say "no".

I agree. I couldn't believe he got that job. They let him mess up the 68 comeback along with so many other parts. I have nothing against him. I didn't know who he was until he played Elvis. Hard to believe they couldn't find some one better.
