I just watched this show again a couple days ago, including a segment with Julia. I couldn't even remember what your specific complaint was with her, so had to come back here to see. Obviously, she doesn't bother me at all since I couldn't remember what it was you didn't like, and sitting here now I can't even remember if she said "of course" even once.

I like everyone on the show also. One of the few shows of any type where I can say that, actually.
I've never noticed Julia's habit of saying "of course" or "obviously", but those are just pause words while the brain is gearing up for the next thing. Most everyone does it, whether we use "Honestly...", "Quite honestly..." (my wife's preferred one), "Actually...", or even the reviled "like" and "um."
On another note, anyone ever notice how Bridget adds a "g" to "onion" and pronounces it like "ongion?" I love it! It makes her an individual.
As far as her "orgasmic" sound...well, that food looks pretty damn sexy to me and I know when I make the recipes from the show (and I've made dozens and haven't hit a clunker yet), I get the same reactions from my family and friends. It's a food orgy! 😄
I have noticed the orgasmic look/moan from Julia, Bridget, and Chris and it's actually one of my favorite moments of each segment, because I know that the food is fantastic!
In fact I can't think of a single thing that I dislike about the show.
I feel exactly the same way you do about Julia - it is so annoying that every time she eats, her eyes roll back in her head, as if she were having sex. (It reminds me of Bernini's statue "The Ecstasy of St Teresa" in the Vatican.) I find that very inappropriate and would never want to be at the same table as her. I do love Bridgette, however, who manages to remain more composed.

BS. To people that love food, great tasting food is sensual. Responding to it doesn't say anything about what someone's sex life is like for either gender or any age.
What you say about older ladies isn't true. There's know way to know that much about "most" older ladies unless you've met them all and they told you about their personal business. Some married couples are freaky and love food as much as they love sex. Besides, we don't know that she's not getting any from her husband; r anyone else for that manner. Lol
I don't like her much and I don't like Bridgette much either.
