malaguena?

what does it mean, or what does it translate to?

reply

Malaguena is the feminine adjective for someone or something from Malaga, an ancient and picturesque city in Andalusia. A woman from Malaga would be "Malaguena" and a woman from Madrid would be "Madrilena," etc. It is also the famous song by Leucona from his Suite Andalucia, also a Mexican song known as Malaguena salerosa. Sorry, there should be a tilde over the "n," but I have no diacritical signs on my keyboard that I know of.
