I don't understand how an actor I like so much in one role could be so horrible in another. If I couldn't have checked it out here I would have thought this was his talentless brother. The movie wasn't good at all but he was atrocious.
shareYes, but sadly, Michael was still the best part of the movie. The story was awful, the effects were awful, but Michael saved it the best he could. But no wonder his acting wasn't up to par--he probably realized even he couldn't save the movie and gave up trying. I feel bad for anyone associated with it.

I haven't watched this movie all the way through (and probably won't) - but you should see the movie lineup we get on Rogers channels eg Showcase, MovieTime, Action, etc. It seems the network who owns these channels have a library of these type of movies and rotate them around from one channel to the other. I'm getting so disgusted with the all the terrible movies on TV that I'm considering going back to basic TV service - and watch my DVDs.

I was going to buy this DVD today, but settled for 'Altered' instead.
Oh, and of course, as to Michael Shanks' acting - no contest !
Just look at the episode 'Life boat' in SG-1 and there's the real talent !
Perhaps I'll buy it one day anyhow 'cos it's got MS in it :-)

ITT; people who don't understand how the movie industry works.
If you folks had ever met a star who has appeared in a low budget film you'd learn a few simple things;
1. The films are meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
2. The acting is deliberately bad.
3. It's just a random job for easy money.
4. They have a lot of fun making them.
