AWFUL.....JUST PLAIN AWFUL!!!!

I'm a big believer in the paranormal, so of course I had to watch this documentary. It was awful.....just awful. It jumped around too much....repeated things....the "proof" didn't look like much proof to me. Did anyone else think it was bad?

"When in doubt, get the *beep* out!"....Jason Hawes from "Ghost Hunters"

I agree that it wasn't my favourite. BUT, I am totally facinated by old hospitals and asylums such as Waverly so I was willing to overlook a lot. I think that it tried to be too 'hip' with the music and the computer voice describing each floor. I recorded it and will watch it a few more times and see what my final 'broken in' verdict is.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, it's only $20 person.

I went in August of 2005, and it was amazing to see. Of course, I did the day tour so fortunately, I didn't see any ghosts.

i am fascinated as well. but this was a very poorly made documentary. it sucked

reply

The building deserved a much better documentary. It was awful.

reply

the reason why you didn't see any ghosts is that ghosts don't exist. it's all just woo-hoo to get money from the gullible.

reply

Starbond8 yes it's 20.00 a person, 50.00 per person for 4 hours and 100.00 per person to spend all nigth which is 8 hours. All the money goes right back into the Waverly to help restore her. She was a beautiful building back in her day.

reply

It's $20.00 for a 2 hour tour, $50 for a half night (4 hour roam of the building) and $100.00 for an 8 hour over night

You know- I feel the same way about ghosthunter- especially Jason Hawes.... Misplaced respect and admiration there.I know- from personal experience.

reply

I didn't actually mind it, I thought it jumped around a bit and the floors going in the order of 1,3,5,4,2 a bit stupid but i enjoyed it.

reply

Yeah the floor order was just messed up, anyway this documentary gave me the feeling of commerciality, because they wanted to scare you with loud noises, sensless photos and doubtful voice recordings. But what I found really interesting was the history of the place and the place itself, I believe there may be ghosts but this documentary just doesn't proove it, I'd had to be there to see something,... I also felt everything except the history and the cameras, could perfectly be a cheap trick.

PS: anybody knows some other good ghost documentary?
