Any other co-productions Japan - China
I found quite interesting this mixture of japanese and chinese cinema.
Is there somebody who could recommend other japan-china/hong kong co-productions?
It's been almost a year since you posted this, but just in case - Chûgoku no chôjin (The Bird People in China) details a story that is quite similar in some ways.
And it is a remarkable film.
