Prince Of Persia 4 Coming soon!!

Prince of Persia 4 is an upcoming video game being developed and published by Ubisoft. This title was not officially announced, however a leaked folder of conceptual artwork and a list of upcoming games (listing Prince of Persia 4) distributed online strongly suggests an original game being released sometime in the next year.

Because Prince of Persia 4 was never officially announced, and Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (a port of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones for the Nintendo Wii) was announced shortly after the leak, it was not totally clear whether or not this was the same game as, although the concept art shows characters not featured in that game.

On 1 March 2007 oxm.co.uk mentioned that this is in fact a new game for the Xbox 360.

ROM IGN:

A mysterious article popped up last Friday on OXM's UK Site, claiming that Ubisoft had quietly announced a next-gen sequel to its 3D re-imagining of the classic Prince of Persia franchise. Previously, we here at IGN, as well as pretty much everyone in the gaming press, had believed that the Prince of Persia series would be taking little a break, with Assassin's Creed stepping forward to fill the action-platforming void.

With OXM's article stirring up abundant rumors about a sequel in the works, we decided to contact Ubisoft directly for comment. An Ubisoft representative claimed that the company had "made no such announcement at this point." This statement casts some serious doubt on the original article, as it made it look like there had been some sort of official announcement out of Ubisoft.

Many people want the saga to continue, for they are proud to be fans of a legendary game.
Prince of Persia 4/7 has not yet been announced and we might not know if it will ever exist. If it will be one, we won't play it tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or probably not even the next 2 years.
We just have to hope that the Prince will return.
