Ok, I'm not getting something about Shahdee, she knows that the Prince is fated to kill Kaileena, but she herself attacks her, shouldn't she have realized that it would be impossible to kill her because she wasn't fated to? and plus in her boss fight, if you leave her alone, she kills Kaileena and laughs. wouldn't she have instantly realized "hey, WTF? I just changed her fate by killing her before the Prince got to" and another thing, after the Prince saves Kaileena, why doesn't she just kill him then, rather than hope he gets killed by the Dahaka? he didn't have any sand powers useful in fighting her, and he didn't have a good sword. she could have killed him easily(okay, not VERY easily) and that'd be it. also the Prince says in Sands of Time that he uses Sand powers by pressing switches on the Dagger, but the medallion has no buttons, plus, he doesn't touch it when he uses his sand powers, nor does hetouch the dagger in the Sands of Time.

Alright, they didn't add the touching bit in the in-game animations when you tap the rewind button, but look carefully at the cutscenes at the end of both games. In SoT, in the very end, after he tries to kiss Farah and she pushes him back, he does touch the dagger and reverse time. Even in the end of WW, just before he pushes Kaileena into the time portal, he needs to slow down time, and he touches the medallion on his chest to do that. As for the rest of your questions, you are right about the logic. I guess they are just plot holes that the developers overlooked.

I know he touchs them in the animations. I was talking about actual gameplay.

speaking of which, when he rewinds time, woldn't that instantly undo him hitting the button?

She's niccer looking in this than the third I must say. Unfortunately I haven't any theories adn it's very unfortuante this dagger doesn't exist. I wanna know where did he get the medalion from anyway?
