What was the ending about?
The bit where the couple handed their kid to the old woman. When they walked off she shook her head in disapproval. What was the purpose of that scene, or is there something I'm not getting here?
shareI thought that this couple had adopted a baby and hired a nanny to look after it which is meant to represent the happy evolution of the neighborhood. I don't think that the head shake was supposed to signify anything in particular.
