Shed Some Light....

Okay...I was totally confused by the ending. Need some help here. Is she dead?

Also, I didn't scan the credits, but this movie follows the premise of a book by Jeff Long, called The Descent, where a bunch of splunkers get trapped in a cave and run into highly evolved creatures called Hadals, who have their own underworld civilization. Interesting book and a good read if you like this idea. Not sure if that is where the idea for this movie came from or not.
