Why do people feel superior by posting negative things about low-budget movies? "Worst acting ever". "What a low rip-off!!". No one owes you anything if you take a chance and invest a little time watching a film. Of course "Descent" is a knock-off of "The Core" (which was a knock-off of "Deep Core"). Some people must be above having a good time.

No, some movies just suck. This is one of them.
It's not a matter of budgets. Really. I like cheap movies. B movies, inexpensive movies. Robert Rodriguez does great with a 20 dollar bill and Antonio Banderas. Superb.
But this movie is sh!te. Simple.

Low budget movies don't have to be bad movies. Everything about 'The Descent' was bad - every cliché in the book was employed. A waste of time for everyone who watched it- including me. But it was so awful - I had to watch it to the end!
