Wow,this movie was dreadful

I have never heard of the main character in this movie and there is a good reason why,he is one of the worst actors I've seen.
The story *could*have been somewhat entertaining if it had any real flow to it,which it didnt. But even if the story had been better, the acting really ruined this movie.I found myself laughing out loud at how bad the 3 main characters were, they honestly read their lines as if were looking at them right in front of them.
Please someone else post about this movie and share your thoughts on this!

You're protesting too much Gus. Don't waste your time defending your movie or motives or whatever on message boards because all it does is make you look desperate.

Gus,

I deleted the post because it came off as more of a personal attack on Eric Stanze and that wasn't my intention. As for a baseless accusation, please spare me. You can deny rating boosting all you want because what else are you gonna do? Admit to it? You guys are smart to handle your buisness in the way you do, and maybe other independent filmmakers like Nick Palumbo should follow your lead.

That said, I don't want to argue with you. I've deleted my posts that came off as attacks and I won't say anything else about the ratings boosting unless of course you see fit to keep this conversation going. I'd rather let it go and just wish you people well with your films.

Did I miss out on some sort of troll invasion on this thread? What's with all the deleted by administrator posts?

I agree w/ Igloo here... whether or not the wicked pixel folks inflate their reviews isn't as important as the free pass they get consistently from all these cheesy fan boy sites. I've read good things about stanze's swork on a bunch of sites and when I actually saw how bad these films were (Ice from Sun and Scrapbook, etc.) it was clear these guys were getting a free pass from alot of folks... the performances from the actors aren't even community theatre level, the camera and lighting at very amatuer levels. (for years now people have been using DV cameras w/ 35mm lenses and really LIGHTING their sets to make DV look very nice. Wicked Pixel does none of this.)

you go to a mid level film festival on any given week in southern cal area (Or AFM for that matter which is usually a cesspool of junk)and you see a handul of films better than what stanze and co. are schilling as "indie horror." i wouldn't bother to comment on this if it wasn't for the fact there was so much bogus stroking going on in the indie/underground community. and the proof is in the pudding, these guys haven't gotten close to a real distribution deal because their films just are not that competitive.....

this was in independent film, no? so, let's look at early George Romero or Francis Ford Coppola movies to name a few....were they the blockbusters they now make? No. Night of the Living Dead was on the caliber of this movie as well as Dementia 13.

This was a movie that kept me riveted and actually creeped me out. The acting might have been weak, but it was by no means awful as some people are making it sound.

the story itself was good, lots of twists and turns. interesting turn of events.

i saw nothing wrong with this movie and it certainly wasn't DREADFUL.

This guy Eric Stanze is going to go places, i believe

this movie was okay, much better than i anticipated since i'd seen two movies from this guy before and those two were absolutely dreadful,
i agree that it could certainly have been shorter; the pacing wasn't quite right to make it a good horror and the parts about the military could have been something much shorter.
