time for a transgender Doctor

reply

I don't think so. 'Trans' is promoted by wokes as a way to repent from your sins as a white. If you're a white male, prove you repent cutting off your balls, if you're a white female, prove you repent cutting off your boobs. Think that most trans in modern society are white: most of them are wokes trying to reach salvation through self-mutilation. You barely see black trans.

Next Doctor is likely to be black, because that's the holy checkbox they want to score in Doctor Whoke above all. A black trans Doctor? I don't see it. It's either one or another, and I think they're gonna go black. It scores more woke points.

reply

umm what... you have serious issues.... this is what right wingers sit at home thinking about?

reply

No idea. I'm no right winger.

reply

What are you then as you complain about leftists and most people seem to complain centre people like myself are more to the left

reply

I don't complain about "left". I complain about wokeness or "modern left".

By the way, wokeness is actually very similar to a Christian cult, and those cults are usually identified as center or right. In my opinion, labeling wokeness as left is completely wrong. I don't think there's barely any left in western countries right now.

reply

Binden is a white male but also a democrat, so does that mean he never had balls to begin with?

reply

I think that already happened when Capaldi became Whittaker 🤷‍♂️

Mirror broke the story: https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/doctor-who-star-jodie-whittaker-23255685

The 38-year-old has told bosses she intends to stick to the traditional rule of leaving after three stints in the TARDIS, like the majority of her predecessors.

Insiders claim Whittaker is keen to take on other roles.

The question remains, however, over whether the Doc stays in a female guise for the 14 incarnation.

Bookies are currently offering odds on Death in Paradise star Kris Marshall, Fleabag's Pheobe Waller-Bridge, Friday Night Dinners' Tom Rosenthal and hunky Happy Valley star James Norton – most of whom were in the running last time around.

But the show is produced out of BBC Wales, meaning David Tennant's Staged pal Michael Sheen could be a frontrunner, along with fellow Welsh Gavin & Stacey favourite Joanna Page.

RadioTimes: When contacted by RadioTimes.com, the BBC declined to comment on any speculation about Whittaker’s future on the show.

reply

I don't think it will be another woman. Sheen is based in Wales now (Port Talbot) might be useful for filming under covid restrictions? Also since he's quite famous he might be a boost to Who and big enough name to placate the woke mob who will be wanting a disabled/transgender/black/muslim doctor. Hed be the biggest name to ever play the Dr anyhow. And I think they'd need someone as big a name as him to win audiences back make it an event again (and he might be up for it as surely can't be deluged with big money work offers at the moment)

reply

I have just all caught up on these I like her episodes also like the other 3 shame they leave but its what they do in doctor who.

reply

That’s half the fun of it, out with the old and in with the new!

reply

While I'm not really surprised I'm taking it with a pinch of salt. Some of these papers have been right about doctor who but remember when it was announced Kris Marshall was going to be 13. Until the BBC announce it you never know. I'm sure last year and the year before probably, there where rumours of both Jodie and Chibnall leaving.

I'd love to see Sandi Toksvig take over. A lot also like the idea of Richard Ayoade. Would be interesting, he could certainly pull off the eccentricity part of the Doctor just not sure about the serious side

reply

Richard Ayoade is a good shout - I think his quirkiness would be perfect.

reply

Notice how everyone is speculating on who the next Doctor will be? Interesting for a show we are told continuously is dead in the water 🤔

reply

Why do people bother watching something they hate?

reply

Everyone? What, all 14 people that still watch this shit? I caught a bit of an episode over Christmas. It was appalling. You get better production quality from YouTubers.

reply

The writing can be bad but you can't call the production quality bad. Series 11 and 12 look amazing

reply

It just looked really cheap. Maybe it was a particularly bad example but the CGI was atrocious.

reply

Not sure if you've seen much of series 11/12 but they really went out to make the series look big. Sometimes maybe to film like

reply

Nope.Still dead in the water to a lot of people myself included. It's weird.I freakin loved this show.I use to get excited at the prospect of a new Doctor or any news about the future of the show. But now after generation woke has had their way with it i couldn't care less.

reply

That’s a shame

reply

I didn't really like her (a first for a Doctor Who fan who's loved all the previous incarnations) but to be honest, the woke BBC will NEVER allow a straight white man in the role EVER again, so I'm not holding my breath.

reply

Aww, diddums.

reply

Yeah, this is The Mirror we're talking about. Wait till you here it through official channels, otherwise this is meaningless.

reply

Maybe Jodie will want to stay for the 60th anniversary and be killed off either in that or straight after. They will be working out/in pre production for the 60th stuff about now anyway which is probably why her finishing has been leaked maybe

reply

It didn't even say she was leaving. It said there was reports that she was leaving. That's the oldest trick in the book. That way if they're wrong, they haven't stated it outright.

reply

Move Bitch, Get out the way

reply

You sound like you’re auditioning for RuPaul’s Drag Race

reply

That's a song by Ludacris. I'm sure you like watching shows about mixed up trans people but not all of us do

reply

Sure, why not? It’s a funny show. But you do know that there’s a big difference between drag queens and trans... you know what, never mind.
