Rumour: BBC is planning a woke crossover David Tennant-Jodie Whitaker

It seems that the episode would include some scene with Whitaker lecturing Tennant and him repenting for his toxic masculinity and agreeing she's a better incarnation of the Doctor.

Is this some kind of a joke or do the commenters actually believe this.

I mean I could be wrong but I can't see the show bringing back one of the most popular doctors, the one that got a lot of the people watching into the show and crapping all over him. People have complained series 11 has as at times became more political than usual but I can't see them doing something stupid like this, Considering there seems to be a divide already.

Don't get me wrong she could have a go slightly at him and possibly the rumour has been exaggerated. That's if he's even returning in the first place.

I doubt this is happening.

Even if Tennant was appearing, the way his character was written doesn't suit a later incarnation lecturing him on not being sexist.

reply

Exactly. They could bring up the whole rose and Martha thing but there's not a lot there

reply

They crapped over the first doctor.

reply

They did it a little bit although I felt it was kind of for laughs.

But it was not with the original actor as obviously Hartnell died years ago. Would tennant seriously want to ruin his characters image

Tennant is the most popular Doctor in new who. This feels like a publicity stunt to lure back viewers who jumped ship after the trendy SJW influenced gender swap and story telling. It's a no thanks from me.they lost me with the gender swap gimmick.Agenda politics destroyed this once great franchise.

reply

I don't even think he is coming back. I could obviously be wrong but think this rumour is just that, a rumour possibly even a joke

reply

Yeah, sounds likely.

I have no doubt Tennant will return some time, he's a good sport, but I don't think he'd be interested in doing anything that is going to hurt the butts of the anti-SJW crowd more than they already are. He is good friends with Jodi and has praised her portrayal, so I think he would be keen to work with her again.

I've seen him interviewed where he has a good laugh at people who complain about the direction of the series, as a life-long fan himself he is astounded at the lengths people will go to trash the series online. I'll post it if I can find it again, suffice to say though, he would be rolling in laughter at this bullshit thread.
