Karen Gillan's wig in TATM always gets to me

The scene where she and Rory wake up in the graveyard and she's wearing that truly terrible wig. I know she'd shaved her head for Guardians of the Galaxy, but it's like they went out and bought the cheapest wig they could find and sat it on her head during that brief scene. Thankfully her hair is back to normal only a few seconds later but everytime I rewatch I go through these emotions:

Crying when Amy and Rory jump together
Laughing at that damn wig
Crying again.

It's probably intentional on Moffat's part. He wanted us to think we were totally safe and he used that wig to help convey that feeling of silly safety that DW is so known for before he snatched it away again.

They should have left a season before, they were just treading water for a year.

In Time of the Doctor during the end scene Jenna Coleman is the only person in that scene out of the three that's not wearing a wig. 
