I do think the current Doctor is pretty good. It's a shame the show is so Walt Disney-esque now...

I've seen that stupid complaint so many times. It's ridiculous how can people thing series 8 and 9 are more childish than the rtd era. 1 episode in 2 years has had darkness than the entire rtd era combined

The christmas specials have always been silly, and this was so obviously meant to be a fun superhero adventure homage.

I don't agree the show is 'walt disney-esque'. I mean, did you watch Series 8 and 9?

Let's roll some tits up the flagpole and see if anyone gets wood.

Almost all of series 7, 8 and 9 are indeed 'Walt Disney-esque'. With a handful of notable exceptions, of course. But this is basically a kid's show now.

The RTD era makes the Moffat era look like dark and gritty.
