She's an amazing actress.
She is incredibly versatile. You'd never think it was the same woman in any of these three roles.

1/ She is already in the show as Osgood and it would probably look like too much fan pandering to have the Doctors decide to look like his number 1 fan.
2/ A female Doctor is a terrible idea anyway. It jars with the previous Doctors, the Doctor is clearly not a genderless or a female character and so Ingrid would look out of place.
3/ A female Doctor is likely to be a huge flop. Most of the audience are against it, and given their track record of virtue signalling through their female or minority characters, the New Who team would probably write her in the most smug, obnoxious, way possible. Think series 8 Clara times 10000. Personally I wouldn't want a great actress like Oliver wasted and her career coming to an end by being associated with such a jump the shark moment.
4/ She should play She Hulk as she would be a good Jennifer Walters.
