is there another movie based on the book?

Hello,
i watched this by accident, a few weeks ago and thought it was another movie i had seen, that resembled the same kind of story massai soldier white women falling in love having a child with him. The only different thing i recall she returns in the end and takes her daughter with her, she is much older and they show the scene with the father much older who smiles at them when he sees them and the woman and daughter walk towards him and then it ends. The women in this movie if my memory serves right was from England because i recall a strong English accent. Anyone know if theres another movie based on the book that the white massai is based on?
