Boring and Incoherent

Anyone else?

(when confronted with aliens) i've got a wife an' kids, eat them.

reply

Boring, yes; incoherent, no.

reply

Boring no, incoherent no...

I can't figure out why those people who want little else than the usual stories, and usual people, with their usual problems, told in the usual manners, actually get to these films which are clearly for a more niche audience. So many interesting and challenging films get these "boring" posts.

I wonder that, too. How do stupid people even find films like this?

reply

I think your sig tells us what kind of films you don't find boring and incoherent. As does your grammar. What was incoherent about a brilliant depiction of a few days in the life of a family group? You expected maybe a flash of light from the sky and a space ship landing? Tell us how you manage to fit the word 'incoherent' into that framework.

NO AND NO

That was very deep of you; I hadn't looked at it that way.

It depends on the depth of your thoughts, your fascination to know the realities out of your normal neighborhood of living ,finally to know the world, not just the immediate one near you,but the never seen lands ,the people ,their life, the hardships, the challenges, the very raw people in flesh and blood.
The film provides just that. Be prepared to be in the steppes of central asia for an hour and a half.

Funny and interesting, yes.

Not as good as Cave of the Yellow Dog though.

reply

Apples and oranges. Both are excellent films.
