Watching the movie - observations, thoughts, ghetto-life, *SPOILERS*

I still have 20 minutes left of the film to watch. Overall, I think some of the dancing is nothing new. It's the same kind of dance I do around the house when I have too much energy, except I just get called immature and stupid when I do it.

*SPOILER AHEAD*
It made me feel sick watching what happened to Tommy The Clown after they won the contest. Where the other "clowns" they competed against broke into his house and trashed it. What is wrong with these stupid people? Somebody is trying to do something positive in the community gets screwed over because some hoodlum babies lost a dance contest. It's a disgrace.

One thing I hate seeing in the young urban community is that it's a giant scene where everybody looks and dresses the same. It's like watching a bunch of punk rock kids try to be as "punk" as possible. It's a damn joke. If any of these people are original and had balls I'd like to see them go out in front of their friends not acting all hardcore and dressed up like a "thug". If these people are trying to make the community a better place, why should they emmulate the people who are ruining it??

It's said throughout the film that it's self expression, but in one scene a guy was talking about "if you weren't "crumpin'" good then they will tell you to go back home." Umm..just throw kids who are trying to get off the streets back on them and you tell them they suck and they aren't allowed to join your stupid "crumpin'" crew?

There are some actual people in here who don't seem like complete hypocrits. I don't like the fact they are trying to justify little girls acting like sluts and emphasizing their body parts. Any thoughts or responses?

Ehm, it's never stated that his house got trashed by the Krumpers. They broke into his house during the contest, so it could've never been the Krumpers. It happened because some a-holes probably knew he wouldn't be home that night because of the contest. So they wait for him to leave and steal everything. So it weren't the krumpers, but just some *beep* gangbangers.

I disagree. I felt it definately implied it was the Krumpers. The contest was already over when he got the call. He had already been celebrating for a while, and it seems some of the Krumpers were already angry and leaving (like the kid with the green outfit and face paint with the flag on his face). It seems his place was pretty trashed and maybe I'm crazy, but it looked like the police held up something like a brick that might have been thrown through the window, theives wouldn't have done that. Even if there was nothing thrown through the window I thought it was implied that the Krumpers were the one who did it for revenge, because they were angry sore losers who had a grudge against Tommy the clown.

I just saw the docu--and it never once said it was the krumpers who did it. It was most likely some gang bangers.
