The 2 Princes

Why didn't they take any immediate actions on Mohammed Al Fayed? After all, the latter is really a pain in the you know where.

Which princes are you referring to? William and Harry were kids when their mother died. They couldn't do anything. I'm not knowledgeable about British law, but it seems that the only thing anyone could have done to Al Faye's is sue him, because his drunk/medicated employee drove the car. But I assume only family could do that, it would take lots of money, it would drag out the spectacle of her death in court, and would stretch out over years. I don't think anyone in her family wanted that. Al Fayed's reputation was pretty ruined by this, he made lots of statements that were repudiated by people on the scene. Ultimately it would be painful and pointless.
