Animals as Metaphors in Cinema

I understand the stag in "The Queen" was a metaphor for her, or a metaphor for the British public idolising her. 

I also heard the cat in "Inside LLewyn Davis" was a metaphor for Llewyn himself (maybe.)

Can you think of other non-anthropomorphic animals acting as metaphors in live action Cinema?
