She got mad at Josh for not having one ounce of romance in his soul. That's usually why she freaked out.

Regarding the ending...

SPOILER ALERT........

Emily, would you be with me instead? Do you exist in real life? Is there anyone out there remotely like you, physically and personality-wise? I'll give you all the things you were missing with Josh.

(sigh... back to reality)

A very touching movie, and Kathryn Aselton is absolutely perfect.

Wow, I guess there's someone for everyone. I thought Josh had the appropriate amount of romance in his heart, and Emily was insecure, high maintenance, passive-aggressive, and just exhausting in general. I would think the only kind of boyfriend she would be able to keep would be someone way less attractive than she is, which Josh is not.
