If this were fictionalized....
Bill Nighy would HAVE to play Arthur.
shareheck yeah! i was thinking that all through the film!
sharegood LORD is he a dead ringer!

This is kind of screwed up but I read or saw somewhere that after Arthur died, the reformed NY Dolls needed to do a photoshoot so the photo people or whoever got Bill Nighy to 'stand in' as him in the photos.
How feckucked is that? I hope hope hope it ain't true.
But yes, if the film was fictionalised, Bill Nighy would make a very good Arthur.
Dee Dee Ramone
yay he's great
I thought the same thing. But if it were fictionalized, no one would believe the ending. So Arthur would have to teach music at the Mormon church for awhile. He would also be in David's next movie and the band would do a successful reunion tour in the U.S.- Hollywood ending. Somewhere on the road, he would pass away in his bandmates arms. They never get real life right.
sharewouldn't it be easier to photoshop Arthur in afterwards?
And why would Bill Nighy agree to do it? He's a busy actor.
Let me try finishing that sentence.
If this were fictionalized...it would be shyt in comparisson to this Documentary.
My body's a cage, it's been used and abused...and I...LIKE IT!!
