Song at 51 minutes

Can someone help me with what song is playing 51 minutes into the movie, it is when one of the players is talking about his dream and during the animation when he is flying over a forest. I sampled all the songs on Amazon and couldn't find the artist, instrumental with violin and piano.

thanks

Im looking for this song too its used in the dream sequence with bob, when Joe is coming home for his sons concert, and in the very ending credits

I think it's just part of the original score (although it reminds me of Godspeed, You Black Emperor!)

reply

good call with the godspeed you! black emperor

though the exclamation is about the "you" :]

the whole score had a very indie/lo-fi feel to it, which i found amazing and very appropriate

i'm looking for it as well

I remember hearing a Sam Prekop song in there - I believe it was on his first album (Sam Prekop) but I can't remember the song title, it might be "A Cloud to the Back". They kept looping the beginning of the song -- not sure if that is the one you're thinking of. The album is really great nonetheless.

Hey, just noticed there is a soundtrack for Murderball. You can go on Amazon and listen to 30 seconds of the songs so you'll probably find the one you want. I was wrong about the Prekop song title...never been very good at that.

reply

i think they keep changing their exclamation point. dont know why, but i think it is now at the end!!

reply

Unfortunately the song that you're referring to is not on the soundtrack. Even though the directors considered it the "murderball theme," it somehow didn't make it on. It was an original composition by Jamie Saft, so you'll have a very hard time finding it. Sorry.

ok so I've just watched it and not only did I love the film but also the music. The song that is being played throughout the film and then during the closing credits...I can't believe it's not on the soundtrack, it's gorgeous! If anyone ever finds out its name, if it even has one, and where to get it, please post!

Thanks

Thanks for the artist's name. I was also looking for that song. I found it on Youtube listed as "Joe's Rush."
