Who else loved this movie?! Sung Kang was AWESOME!!!

I usually don't like these kind of movies, but I watched it because of Sung Kang. It was really good, a lot better than I expected!!!

I loved the relationship the two characters had.

Sung Kang was such a good actor in here, like always. I don't like seeing him so drunk and kind of mean like in this movie though. But he did really good in portraying the character.

You don't often see a "father-son" relationship like Sam and Ernest in this movie. I like the quote from Kang in the extras. Think of Sam as the last person you think should be any kid's role model. But somehow it kinda worked.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

I also loved the movie :D

I'll admit, I've never seen Sung Kang (Sam, korean-american) anywhere else, but here he did so well! The scenes where he was devastated were emotionally rocking.

Sung Kang (Sam) was so funny in this movie. This movie was really great. Everyone put on a great performance.

I had never noticed Sun Kang before, but after watching this film I was drawn to him enough to come online and research what else he has done. I am putting more of his films on my netflix list. He is a very interesting and natural actor. I hope he does not get stuck in only playing Asian roles. He has a nice range and I hope to see him in a diversity of parts.

Better than I expected and it was kind of great becuase I had no idea what to expect.

It isn't one of those over thought, trying to hard to be different indie movies about kids and other than the one scene where the mom rams into on the naked couple, it isn't super shocking and grostesque (ok, some of the stuff is gross, but real!). And it certiantly isn't a dumb unrealistic look at being a teenager. It's very real. All the actors are very good.

Also loved it. I'm surprised at how many people on the boards didn't see any character development. Jeffry Chyau did a phenomenal job with conveying the pubescent frustration without going overboard. I cried like a baby at the end. :)
