suNG kang fit the part in many ways, friend. sometimes, i see white people in movies and i think, "damn, they shouldn't have cast him, he looks too white!"
and then other people in the audiences hear me say this and give me a standing ovation and sacks of cash with $ signs on them, telling me how deep and insightful i am.
this was a pretty hilarious post tho, it made my night.
why not just cast keanu, he's half. maybe that will make you feel more comfortable.
on second thought, that's probably why Wesley Snipes is having trouble finding work - he's "too black"
thats probably why a lot of really white people have trouble finding work. they are "too white."
the casting directors would probably say, "hey, sorry bro. you're too white."

Sung Kang was awesome in this movie!!!!!! I don't think anyoen could have played the role as well as him. Parry Shen as Sam would have been weird; I think Sung is a much better actor.
lol. i thought Sung Kang was prefect for the role as well. Parry Shen is too 'whitewashed' looking, and doesn't have an edge about him the way Kang does. For an asian american yuppie having a quarter-life crisis, I can't think of anyone else who can fit that role.
can you tell me more about this movie(any nudity no gore rite and any thing elce)?

There's a bit of nudity and lots of language, but the movie's unrated.

If you watch the DVD extras, in real life he has similar impish qualities to Sam Kim. I think it was a very wise casting.
