Why is Roving Mars playing everywhere in IMAX theatres but the Los Angeles area

It's probably up to your local IMAX theater. Where I live we don't get each and every IMAX movie either.

It will be in LA in the fall.

Whether it's true or not, LA doesn't exactly have the reputation for being interested in science. Maybe the LA IMAX managers think most Angelinos only want to worship celebrities and vicariously live their lives via reality shows. Let them know different!

Need I remind you that JPL and CALTECH are in the Los Angeles County ?...we ARE plenty interested, I wonder why they are not showing it here...

It will open in LA September 2006 (Palm Springs in August). I believe at the California Science Museum. It didn't open in January due to scheduling issues.

The group sales manager at the IMAX in Palm Springs just told me they will not be showing Roving Mars after all.
