Lots of info on this fresh movie...

The synopsis from TF1 Distribution's English site :

There's a promo reel vidéo (very badly) subtitled in English with scenes that aren't even in the actual final movie so that made me wonder if Rémi Bezançon had had to change his movie for international audiances or something...And it made the movie look like something it's not so... I hope that's not the case. The English title is ridiculous imho too so i can't see how they would sell the movie with such a bad promotion but that's only my opinion after all... Not very worthy. There's the French trailer you can see on every cinéma's website too...

SYNOPSIS

Yann Kerbec is a 30-year-old pilot evaluator: he tests pilots' skills in extreme conditions on flight simulators. But Yann has a big problem: he is scared of flying, a senseless fear that, in his youth, prevented him from following the woman of his dreams.
Now, between his crusade to improve airline security and his faltering management of his love life, Yann is at a crossroads: either he overcomes his fears and accepts to grow up. or he keeps his life on its collision course.

TREATMENT

Directed by a bright young talent in French cinema, Rémi Bezançon (whose last short film, Paraboles, was screened in numerous international festivals and won a number of awards, among them Best European short film in Salerno, Italy, and Special Mention in Larissa, Greece), "Love Is in the Air" tackles the problems facing "thirty-somethings" as they realize that the wild days of their youth are over and that they need to settle down at last. However, despite the serious nature of its subject matter, the film is an off-beat and satirical comedy.

Produced by Mandarin Films, the team behind the French box-office smashes Jet Set and Riders (starring Stephen Dorff and Natasha Henstridge), "Love Is in the Air" will star Vincent Elbaz and Marion Cotillard, two of France's hottest young actors. Vincent has been seen internationally in Michel Blanc’s See how they run while Marion, who became popular with French audiences in the three Taxi movies and Love Me If You Dare, made her Hollywood début as Billy Crudup's pregnant wife in Tim Burton's Big Fish and has since appeared in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's international hit A Very Long Engagement. With its popular stars, talented supporting cast and gifted young director, "Love Is in the Air" is set to be one of the comic highlights of the year.

They should have mentioned the nice soundtrack by Sinclair, with one song by Jeanne Cherhal (Ma vie en l'air), Serge Gainsbourg (Ford Mustang), The Mammas and the Papas and The Saints...
