there's actually a good scene in this (spoilers)

although the movie medicore in most aspects, there was one good scene that would look home in something romero did. the leader of the latino posse gets surrounded by zombies - they pry open his mouth and basically rip his head apart with some surprisingly good SFX. this was better looking than any other straight-to-dvd zombie movie gore i can recall (although Dead Men Walking had some nice gunshots-to-the-face). this movie had some potential, and it could have been achieved with some better actors, role casting, and sound quality (half the lines were nearly inaudible).
