Is this moving plagerizing Max Brooks story?

Isn't this similar to one of the events in Max Brooks book THE ZOMBIE SURVIVOR GUIDE.

reply

not even close.

if you think so then in reality Max Brooks took the ideas of every other zombie concept before his.

Uh. . . what?!

Did you read the book? Zombie Survival Guide is a mock how-to guide on how to defend yourself against zombie outbreaks.

Anyone who actually read "The Zombie Survival Guide" will be able to tell you that there's an entire section of the book that gives a chronology of the zombie epidemic origins. One of these is a massacre that takes place in LA when 2 rival gangs converge at a warehouse to fight each other, but are attacked by zombies. Have any of you actually read the book? I came here to imdb to look the movie up to see if Brooks had a screenwriting credit when I saw it listed at Netflix, because of the plot similarities.

reply

They're actually nothing at all alike. Not at all. Trust me, I've read the book many more times than you have.

I've read The Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z and seen this movie and there is no connection between Max Brooks's story telling and the movie.

reply

How can you not see the similarity (minus the meteorite) between this movie & the story in Max Brook's book? (It's page 236-239 called "JAN 1993 AD, DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA" if that helps.) I hope Max at least got tickets to the premiere.

reply

Did you read the book? There are "historical accounts" in the back.

reply

Any of you saying that this movie has no similarity to the zombie survival guide are full of crap. And you've nevet actually read the book. Anyone whose read that book and seen this movie would obviously
see the resemblance of the two stories.
