I saw this film last night at the cinema in Oxford.

I had not realised before that it was not brand new.

I thought it was fantastic. My favourite kind of French film, I think.

There have been some really great ones in recent years. What was the name of the really violent film with the guy who learnt to play piano? Anyone remember?

it was good. Not amazing but a good film. There were three key moments for me when it went up in my estimations. I'd give it a 6.5/10

Just watched it on DVD, and loved it! Even though I knew what was coming in most scenes, the cast played their roles so well that I was still touched by the emotions. Beautifully done.
