How does the story unfold after the film ends?

What do you think how everything unfolds after the movie?

I can think of both endings as Francoise staying with her friend, marrying him and dancing regularly with Jean-Claude. In the end there may be many things that relate her to her friend. She knew him for years and they may have children together.

With Jean Claude it may be just a crush like it always starts at the beginning and his way of life may not be that compatible with hers other than dancing. She definitely felt connected to him on a personal level and they could get together and live I guess without marriage happy together.

My guess would be solution 1. She marries her friend and goes on a regular level to dance with Jean Claude. What a beautiful movie.
