Did you ever notice that people who believe in creationism look really un-evolved?

Even the more obvious "Mother Trucker" or "Brother Tucker" would have been better. I mean "Coffee Maker" doesn't even rhyme with *you know what*.

Obviously I'm taking it out of context, it's possible the character said it to a coffee machine but even so it's an incredibly poorly tagged on Die Hard reference. In league with those Aaron Seltzer - Jason Friedberg "movies".

What do you mean it doesn't rhyme?

It wasn't cornier than the line:

-What is that?

-My little friend....Say hello.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh, took the Scarface line and made it cornier and cheesier.

i'd like to thank this movie for killing whatever intrest i had in die hard...because last i remember that like belongs to john mclaine "Yippee *beep*

reply

The sheer idiocy of this line is that in order for kids to remotely 'get it', they'd have to know Willis' real line in Die Hard. So, that begs the question, why use a line like that in the first place? Lazy writing? I dunno...

reply

'Cause it's for the whole family. I mean, you watched it. But yeah, it's kinda stupid, but it didn't bother me.

And for anyone who didn't watch the film or something, he did say it to a coffee maker.

reply

the same thing goes for the yippee ki-ay line in alvin & the chipmunks. alvin couldn't say yippee ki-ay *beep* so he said yippee ki-ay momma cita.

reply

It's not there for the kids to get it, it's for the parents, if you look through the details it references loads of films that the kids wouldn't have seen, but they realise parents have to watch (over & over again) these films too & put stuff in for them.
